If you have chance to visit Vietnam and travel from north to south, you must go trough Hai Van Pass which situated along the slope of Hai Van Mountain, between Thua Thien - Hue province and Danang City. This is among the most abrupt Passes of Vietnam (about 500 meters above sea level) with 21 kilometers in length.

Nowadays, the Hai Van highway tunnel has gradually replaced the Hai Van Pass to become the main north-south transportation junction.
