Twin Towers

Binh Dinh Province has several Cham towers, the cluster of Duong Long Towers (3 towers) in Tay Son district; Banh It Towers (4 towers) in Phuoc Loc, Canh Tien Tower in Nhon Hau, An Nhon, and some others in Phu Cat. Especially, Quy Nhon has its own twin towers near Tran Hung Dao Street - the gateway to the city. It is located in the old village of Hung Thanh, Dong Da ward, just about 3 km to the northwest of city center.
Twin Towers as well as other Cham towers in Binh Dinh Province is a relic of arts and culture scene with the religion of ancient Cham people. The tower was built in the late 12th and early 13th century. Its structure is quite unique, especially techniques of dressing and solidly fitting the slabs of stone together.
The outside corners and top of the towers have many lively sculptural relieves carving gods, birds, animals in the Cham's religious beliefs. Twin towers consist of a large tower and a small one standing close each other like a couple. The tower has been quite heavily destroyed by the war. However, with the help of Polish experts and domestic archaeologists, the towers have been repaired, almost returning to its original appearance.
