Day 1 Arrival Saigon (D)

Accommodation: Sapphire hotelUp on arrival in Saigon, we will be met at the airport, transfer to hotel. Check in and relax. Tonight we have dinner in a fine restaurant in Saigon.
Day 2 Saigon city tour – Cu Chi Tunnel (B)
Accommodation: Sapphire hotelSites visited: Former Presidential Palace, North Dame Cathedral, General Post office, War Museum, Ben Thanh Market, Cu Chi tunnel After breakfast we depart our hotel for the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that, we will visit War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting about the second Indochina war. Before our lunch, we stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post. In the afternoon we will depart Saigon for visiting the legendary Cu Chi tunnel.
Day 3 Saigon – Fly to Hue (B)
Transfer via: Vietnam AirlineAccommodation: Green Hue HotelSite visited: Perfume River, Thien Mu Pagoda, Tu Duc Tomb, Forbidden City, Dong ba market This early morning, we will transfer to the airport for our short domestic flight to Hue. Today we will take a boat cruise on the Perfume River to visit the picturesque Thien Mu, or Heavenly Lady Pagoda. Also worth visiting are the tombs of the former Emperors Tu Duc. In the afternoon, we will visit the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City; and Dong Ba market.
Day 4 Hue Flight Hanoi (B)
Transfer via: Vietnam AirlineAccommodation: Maison D’ Hanoi hotelSites visited: Ho CHi Minh complex, One Pillar pagoda, Temple of literature, Hanoi Old quarter, Water Puppet Show. We will take a flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi in the morning we will be transferred to our hotel. We take the City tour after that to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which includes is Mausoleum, the Presidential palace, is House on stilts and the One Pillar pagoda. Then we will visit the Temple of literature. After lunch we will visit the impressive Museum of Ethnology, the finest museum in Vietnam. We will follow this with a walking tour of Hanoi's vibrant Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. In the evening we can enjoy the unique Water puppet show. We will stay overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 5 Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L)
Accommodation: Maison D’ Hanoi hotelSites visited: Halong Bay & CavesThis morning we will depart from Hanoi around 08.00. After more than 3 hours driving including a stop-over at the Humanity Center to donate money to the children who are the victims of Agent Orange, we arrive in Halong Bay at noon. We will jump straight onto our boat, eat a delicious, fresh, seafood lunch and spend about 4 hours cruising on this secluded bay. During that time we will have the opportunity to visit the spectacular Heaven Palace cave, crammed with stalactites and stalagmites. Weather permitting; we can swim from our boat in the bay. We will return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
Day 6 Hanoi – Hoa Lu & Tam Coc (B, L)
Accommodation: Maison D’ Hanoi hotelSites visited: Hoa Lu ancient capital, Tam Coc cavesWe leave Hanoi for Hoa Lu, which was the capital of Vietnam since the 10th century. We will spend about one hour here to visit the King Dinh and King Le temples. We then move on to the picturesque setting of Tam Coc. After lunch we take a 2 hour rowing boat trip along the Boi River. This makes for a truly unforgettable experience. There is an overnight stay at a hotel in Hanoi.
Day 7 Hanoi – Departure (B)
Transfer via: International Flight on your own arrangement Today we are free at our leisure in Hanoi, then transfer to Hanoi airport for your departure flight.
