Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai by night train
Impress travel’s staff pick you up in the hotel then drive to Hanoi station for a night train to Sapa (overnight on the train, the cabin with 4 berths, soft sleeper and air-conditioning), you can book the whole cabin or you can share with 2 other persons.
There are several train depart from Hanoi station between 7pm to 10pm, the journey is about 8,5 hours, the end in Lao Cai Station.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa, trek to Ta Van village (B,L,D)
The train arrives in Lao Cai at 6.30 a.m, Our Impress team will welcome you by your name sign. We drive up to Sapa about 50 minutes on Bus, you will be taken to a small guesthouse for a morning showers then your breakfast at a local restaurant here.
After breakfast & short morning beak and have some last preparation for the trekking to villages
At 10 Am we leave the hotel and start trekking . The fist part is on the road but we soon turn to the right and walk on a small path down the valley to Muong hoa river and visit the Black Hmong in Lao chai . Black Hmong is one of the biggest minority group in Sa pa district . They are proud of their culture and keep their traditions way of living . They have their own language ,wear traditions indigo bluclothing …
After that you continue go to Ta van village to visit the Zay People . Zay is a fairly small minority group of 38.000.people who live in the mountains in the North west Viet nam . The development has meant that some of their old custom have been lost but many woman still wear tradition shits with purple, blue or green colour . The Zay houses are build in wood and bamboo with clay floor . We stay overnight with a local family in Ta van and have dinner there .

Day 2: Ta van – Giang Ta chai – Sa pa ( B)
After the breakfast we continue to visit Red Zao people at Giang Ta chai village . Where we also see a waterfall . The Red Zao woman have very colorful embroideries and coins on their clothing . On their head they wear a red scarf . Some of the women have shaved off their eyebrows because of a nice Red Zao Legend .
We continue go along small path in the rice filds ,cross the Muong hoa river and trek up to Su pan where you meet the car pick you up to Sa pa (Trekking distance : 10 Km)

Day 3: Sapa to Coc Ly tuesday market and Lao Cai station ( B, L)
Getting up early for breakfast, checking out the hotel, and then driving down to Coc Ly market (106 km from Sapa). When we are about to arrive, we will see a lot of hill tribes carrying with them the home-made products or pulling dogs, buffalos on their way heading to the market. You are free to get around the market and witness their trading activities, please be soft and nice to the locals since they will not like being taken photo without their permission.

In the afternoon, walking around villages of Flower H’mong and tasking corn wine. Then we transfer to Lao Cai town. Dinner here and boarding the night train. After 8,5 hours, you arrive in Hanoi station at 5.30 Am.

Sapa Lao Chai Village
Lao Chai is a village of black H’Mong ethnic group. Lao Chai is a commune composed by three large villages with over 100 families of the Black H’mong ethnic, and people here are quite hospitable.

Location: About 7-8 Km southeast of Sapa town on the west bank of Muong Hoa River.
Lao Chai is a commune composed by three large villages with over 100 families of the Black H’mong ethnic. From a high point of the main road 8 Km from Sapa town, great view of the whole village open wide to offer the marvelous panorama of the village, backed by high mountains and facing the river. The H’mong people in this village experience rice intensive farming on the lower land near the bottom of the valley as main source of earning while growing corn on the mountain slopes at the back of the village.
Sin Chai is a village of the Dao ethnic people, whose women wear beautifully embroidered clothes with distinctive silver jeweler and an enormous red turban. This village offers an amazing vista across the valley.

Location: Located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, ‘the roof of Vietnam and Indochina’ is Sin Chai village, about 30 kilometers trekking from Sapa town.
Sin Chai is a village of the Red Dao ethnic people, whose women wear beautifully embroidered clothes with distinctive silver jeweler and an enormous red turban. Coming to Sin Chai village, visitors can experience cultural beauty. Sin Chai is a community village. In this village, local people will take the time to teach textile weaving and dying, will take the group on a locally built trail to explain the names and function of the local flora. There will be the opportunity to participate in the village community, there will be a traditional sporting activity and tree planting. But before staying in Sin Chai Village, the visitors shall have a chance to stop over Cat Cat Village, just 2 km trekking from Sapa Town let and on the way to Sin Chai Village, to learn about the life of Black Hmong people.
