Giang Ta Chai village is an easy walk but most of visitors will use a moto taxi ride or a bus to get to Lao Chai, then it is a trekking up in the mountains to reach Giang Ta Chai vilage and it is wonderful people. You may count a few hours on your schedule (half day trek) but it is very easy to make it a full day trek if you want to enjoy the place.
