Most popular destination for diving and snorkeling activities in Vietnam is Nha Trang. The coral reefs on the nearby islands in Nha Trang Bay, as well on Whale island host a variety of tropical fish species and provide two dozens of excellent diving locations.

However other resort destinations in South Vietnam are quickly catching up with Nha Trang in popularity. In addition to Nha Trang, there are organized diving tours in Cham Island (next to Hoi An), Phu Quoc and Co Dao islands.

The price of a diving tour in Nha Trang may vary around 50-60 USD per person, including a boat trip, two dives, and a seafood lunch.

Best time to enjoy diving in Nha Trang is April to August, while in Phu Quoc the best time is from November to March.
